HOLMENKOL Profi Edger<\/strong> is an adjustable ergonomic edge guide with a file and bearings, designed for sharpening the side edges of skis and snowboards. The guide includes a coarse Cut 0 file. The part that contacts the base is equipped with bearings that protect the base from scratches and allow the file to glide more smoothly.<\/p>\n

Adjustable angle from 90\u00b0 to 85\u00b0<\/strong>. Suitable for oxide stones, coarse files and diamond files.<\/p>\n

Included ICECUT file:<\/strong> 80 \u00d7 20 mm, coarse, Cut 0<\/p>\n

Recommended Edge Angles<\/h3>\n

  • 86\u00b0<\/strong> \u2013 for very good and powerful skiers who want maximum edge responsiveness. Not recommended for beginners.<\/li>\n
  • 87\u00b0<\/strong> \u2013 the most commonly used angle across skiing disciplines. Suitable for intermediate to advanced adult skiers.<\/li>\n
  • 88\u00b0 and 89\u00b0<\/strong> \u2013 suitable for recreational skiers and children.<\/li>\n
  • 90\u00b0<\/strong> \u2013 for freestyle snowboards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Use<\/h3>\n

    Before using the guide, remove the plastic\/phenol above the ski edge with a phenol cutter. We recommend wearing gloves when working with the guide.<\/p>\n

    Set the desired angle using a coin. The file should be oriented in the direction of sharpening, as indicated by the arrow. Apply gentle pressure to the guide at approximately a 45\u00b0 angle<\/strong> to the edge.<\/p>\n
