It is part of the Shimano Altus series and combines reliable operation with precise shifting.

The derailleur uses SHIMANO SHADOW RD technology, which features a low-profile design and contributes to smoother and quieter operation. This construction reduces the possibility of the derailleur coming into contact with the frame during more demanding riding.

The RD-M2000-SGS model features a long SGS cage and a total capacity of 45T. It is compatible with rear sprockets ranging from 11 to 36 teeth, allowing use with a wide range of gears. For proper operation, it is designed for HG 9-speed chains.

The derailleur is mounted on the bicycle using conventional direct mounting to the derailleur hanger. It is also equipped with cable tension adjustment, allowing precise shifting adjustment.

Features

brand: Shimano

series: Altus M2000

model: RD-M2000-SGS

type: rear derailleur

for 9-speed drivetrains

long SGS cage

SHIMANO SHADOW RD technology

compatible with HG 9-speed chains

total capacity: 45T

maximum rear sprocket: 36T

minimum rear sprocket: 11T

maximum front difference: 22T

derailleur pulley size: 11T

conventional direct mounting

cable tension adjustment

suitable for MTB and trekking bicycles

Brand: Shimano
Series: Altus
Model: RD-M2000-SGS
Type: Rear derailleur
Number of speeds: 9
Cage: SGS – long
Compatible chain: HG 9-speed
Maximum rear sprocket: 36T
Total capacity: 45T
Technology: SHIMANO SHADOW RD

View more products

Shimano Altus RD-M2000-SGS is a rear derailleur for 9-speed bicycle drivetrains.
