Salomon S\/LAB Equipe GS Skis<\/strong> are giant slalom-oriented race skis for skiers looking for a highly precise and stable feel at higher speeds. The 115-65-98 mm geometry and 15 m radius give the model a distinct GS character: less nervous than a slalom model, with more support through medium-length and longer turns.<\/p>\n

Salomon S\/LAB Equipe GS Skis \u2013 Construction<\/h2>\n

The Full Ash Woodcore gives the construction a dynamic and responsive character. Double Ti means two layers of Titanal, which improve performance on hard surfaces, increase edge grip and help keep the skis stable under strong pressure. Full Sandwich Sidewalls provide direct power transfer to the edge and more consistent ski-to-snow contact.<\/p>\n

Salomon uses 7 mm ABS sidewalls and a 7\u00b0 Side Edge Angle. This combination supports precise edge contact and quick response when initiating a turn. The Power Control System, or PCS, adds cork inserts combined with Titanal to dampen vibrations while keeping the ski’s power usable throughout the turn. The aim is not to soften the model, but to provide a calmer and more predictable edge-to-snow connection when skiing at high speed and with strong pressure.<\/p>\n

Who are they designed for?<\/h2>\n

The S\/LAB Equipe GS is designed for advanced skiers with a strong stance and good technique. The ski performs best at higher speeds on groomed, hard pistes, where it can take advantage of its stability, edge grip and acceleration through the turn. For slow recreational skiing, it offers more construction than most skiers need.<\/p>\n

The product includes the skis and race plate but does not include bindings. When building the final setup, a compatible binding must therefore be selected and the system professionally adjusted according to the ski boot, skier’s weight and intended use.<\/p>\n
