LEKI Rider – Lightweight Children’s Ski Poles
LEKI Rider are children’s ski poles designed for their first serious days on the slopes, ski school and young skiers who need a lightweight, simple and reliable pole. The current colour combination of black / neonyellow / white provides good visibility on the snow, while the construction is adapted to children.
The shaft is made of Aluminium TS 4.5 with a diameter of 14 mm. It is a fixed, one-piece pole offering a good combination of low weight and stability. The children’s Turbo Sport grip is designed for smaller hands, while the adjustable Buckle Strap allows quick adjustment of the wrist strap.
A compact Racing | Trekking basket provides reliable contact with the snow, while the steel tip integrated into the shaft ensures precise pole placement and reliable grip. The LEKI Rider is designed for alpine skiing on groomed slopes and is available in lengths of 70–105 cm in 5 cm increments.

Choosing the Right Length
For children’s ski poles, the elbow should be approximately at a right angle when the correct pole length is selected. For beginners choosing between two lengths, a slightly shorter pole is generally more practical, as it is easier to control.
