HEAD Worldcup Rebels XR + PR 11 GW Set – High-Performance Set for Groomed Slopes
HEAD Worldcup Rebels XR + PR 11 GW Set is a high-performance ski and binding set designed for all skiers who want a combination of stability, speed and responsiveness on groomed ski slopes. This set is part of the Worldcup Rebels series – a line that combines technological innovations from the racing world with practicality for advanced recreational users. The skis stand out for their excellent edge grip, controlled dynamics and smooth performance, while the bindings provide a safe and stable connection between the boot and ski.
The set includes HEAD Worldcup Rebels XR skis and PR 11 GW bindings, which are compatible with GripWalk ski boots – a standard that provides a more natural and comfortable walking experience off the skis. This makes the set ready for use, without the need to assemble or select separate components.
EMC (Energy Management Circuit) – Smooth Performance at High Speeds
HEAD Worldcup Rebels XR skis are equipped with EMC (Energy Management Circuit), an innovative technology that improves the feeling of stability during skiing. EMC acts as an internal damping system that reduces unwanted vibrations, allowing the skis to run more smoothly over the snow and providing more predictable turn control.
Benefits of EMC technology:
✔ reduces vibrations at higher speeds
✔ provides smoother and more stable performance
✔ increases control over the skis
✔ improves the feeling of stability
This technology is particularly useful on hard-packed or uneven slopes, where conventional skis can lose some stability due to increased vibrations. EMC helps reduce this effect and provides greater confidence in every turn.
Race Structured UHM C Base – Smooth and Fast Gliding
The Race Structured UHM C Base ski base provides smooth contact with the snow and fast gliding, which is essential for skiers who want:
✔ high speed
✔ less friction and more efficient gliding
✔ better control when initiating turns
✔ smooth transitions between lines
This type of base is characteristic of skis designed for high performance and smooth dynamics, whether skiing on hard-packed snow in the morning or softer sections of the slope later in the day.
Geometry and Design – Stability and Responsiveness
The HEAD Worldcup Rebels XR skis feature geometry optimized for groomed slopes, with a profile and radius that provide:
✔ stability at high speeds
✔ responsive handling when changing direction
✔ smooth edge-to-edge transitions
✔ more controlled performance through turns
This means the skis do not feel overly aggressive or unpredictable, but instead reward the skier with a precise and confidence-inspiring feel through every turn, regardless of pace. The design allows the skier to handle both longer turns and quick line corrections.
PR 11 GW Bindings – Stable Connection and GripWalk Comfort
The set includes PR 11 GW bindings, offering the following benefits:
✔ GripWalk compatibility – a more natural walking experience off the skis
✔ a wide DIN range suitable for advanced recreational skiers
✔ a stable and secure connection between boot and ski
✔ reliable power transfer and responsiveness
PR 11 GW bindings are a well-established choice for ski sets, offering a combination of comfort, safety and performance suitable for a wide range of modern skiing styles.
Versatile Use – From Recreational to Sporty Skiing
The HEAD Worldcup Rebels XR + PR 11 GW Set is suitable for a wide range of skiers:
✔ recreational skiers looking for lightweight yet high-performance equipment
✔ advanced skiers seeking stability and responsiveness
✔ those who want dynamic skiing on groomed slopes
✔ sport-oriented skiers who value technology and performance
Whether you’re making short turns with full dynamics or cruising the slope at higher speeds, this set provides an excellent balance of speed, stability and precise ski control.
