Holmenkol Carve Edge
Holmenkol Carve Edge is a professional tool for precise preparation and treatment of the side edges of skis and snowboards. Thanks to two rotating guides, the tool precisely adapts to the side curvature of the ski and enables stable and even guidance along the entire length of the edge.
The processing angle can be adjusted in precise 0.5° increments, from 85° to 90°. This allows the angle to be adapted to different requirements for ski preparation and servicing.
Carve Edge allows the use of different file inserts for performing various steps in side-edge preparation. The basic version includes SegmentFile Hard Metal, a special hard file that can be used to work on both metal and plastic.
The tool is intended for demanding users and professional ski servicing and has been tested in a World Cup racing environment.
